Teresa Atkinson
Founder & College Consultant
Teresa is very passionate about working closely with students and families through the college admissions process. Teresa has over 15 years of school counseling experience in both public and private high schools. She obtained both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in education from Duquesne University. In addition, Teresa has obtained a certificate in College Admissions Counseling from UCLA. She also has been an Independent Educational Consultant (IEC) for 8 years working with various college consultants. As an IEC, she engages with students and families to empower, support, and guide them through the college application process. One of Teresa’s favorite parts of this work is traveling to new cities and attending college tours so she can better serve her students and clients.
Anne Paolicelli
Director of Communications & Essay Specialist
Anne is a lifelong Pittsburgher with more than 18 years experience as a high school English teacher. A former college journalist, Anne loves helping students tell their stories and delights in the process of brainstorming, drafting, and revising the college essay. Anne believes that all students have a unique voice and are capable of expressing themselves in sophisticated writing that amplifies what they want to share with the world.
In addition to being Pennsylvania certified to teach secondary English, she has achieved National Board Certification through the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards and is working toward certification as an English as a Second Language Specialist. Anne lives in South Fayette with her husband and daughters.
